Common bird monitoring in Cabrera National Park

During the last few days the spring census of common birds in the Cabrera National Park has been taking place.

NHS collaborates with the Sociedad Española de Ornitología (SEO-Birdlife) by undertaking transects and listening points to be able to detect spring breeding species and obtain distribution and abundance results.
The tasks are carried out on the island of Cabrera Gran, and at the moment the species with the largest distribution is the Balearic Warbler (S.balearica).
